Plantlanta Tree Plantings Coming to Benteen Park!

Volunteer to plant trees during the annual Trees Atlanta Plantlanta celebration in Benteen Park! Volunteers all over the city will plant more than 400 trees to help sustain our urban forest. View all of the planting locations and learn more about Plantlanta here.

Trees Atlanta will be staggering start times for this project, and up to 9 volunteers are needed at each start time. The early shift (8:30-10:30) is primarily focused on filling and delivering buckets of mulch to the tree planting locations.

Friday (11/6) Locations and Shift Times

Council District 1 - Tree Planting in Benteen Park

Shift 1 (8:30 AM - 10:30 AM): Fill and deliver mulch buckets to tree planting locations, place trees, and possibly help water. Register here for the first shift in Benteen Park.

Shift 2 (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM): Dig holes, loosen root balls, fill the holes back in and mulch and water! Register here for second shift in Benteen Park!
