About The Ormewood Park Makers Festival

We believe that to “make” is to create, through craftsmanship, artistic ingenuity and sheer homegrown talent. The Ormewood Park Makers Festival, presented by SAND, seeks to showcase our local makers, as well as provide an opportunity for community participation and learning. Non-profits and neighborhood organizations are also encouraged to participate in the festival to better engage our neighborhood and the surrounding communities.

The Makers Festival is a street festival, with workshops and classes taking place around the neighborhood school and churches. All activities are within easy walking distance of the artist market, live music, and food and beverage vendors.
