Guys Read, Boys Club
3rd Saturday of Month 1 PM - 2:30 PM from Oct 17, 2015 
This is a monthly peer-to-peer book and activities club for boys ages 6-12 yrs. Meetings will be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The purpose of this club is to encourage boys to embrace reading by using activites and techniques along with reading and writing practices and competitions. The meetings include a potluck meal provided by each guardian that escorts the boys to the meeting. Boys will be reading a variety of problem solving detective books, etiquette books, books on building things and political. Some of the activities for the boys will include building a club house, go-cart, and other crafts. The club members will also practice public speaking, debating, selling and attend book signings by local authors. We are located in Ormewood Park. Space is limited since this club is held in our home.

Admission: Monthly dues required
